Aria loisirs offers ride
on traditional flat boats(punts) or canoe through
the marais Poitevin in the south Vendee.
Two moorings are available one in Damwix and the other in Maillezais

Where you can discover the interesting and historical heritage
of the Vendee. All our visits are guided in French and English
and there is ample car parking facilities to welcome our visitors.

great Abbey of Maillezais, the Abbey Boating Center is your
gateway to a journey of discovery along and by-waters through
"la Venise Verte" (Green Venice). |

The best way to experience the Marais Poitevin is to take a trip by the local flat bottomed boat « barque » or « plate » to immerse yourself in the local atmosphere so that you are aware only of the special charms of the Marais Poitevin |

« Petites Cités de Caractère de la Vendée ».
The programme includes : baroque, classical, opera, jazz, gospel, world music.
Leading artistes will perform against the backdrop of sites of significant national and local heritage, in each of the Communes hosting the festival. |
